Detta är 2000-talets 100 bästa låtar

Musikmagasinet Rolling Stone har listat 2000-talets 100 bästa låtar. Fyra svenska artister ryms: två grupper, en elektropopduo och en kvinnlig popstjärna.

Det är såklart ett hästarbete att försöka lista och rangordna seklets 100 bästa låtar. Hur väger man Adele mot U2, Kanye West mot Kylie Minogue? Är det ens möjligt? Musikmagasinet Rolling Stone har en lång tradition av att lista saker och ting och den här gången har tidningen låtit en lång rad producenter, artister, kritiker och branschfolk lista sina favoritlåtar från de senaste 18 åren.

På Rolling Stones lista över de 100 bästa låtarna finns fyra svenska artister med. På plats 89 ligger Hives och deras Hate to say I told you so från 2000, strax ovanför på plats 86 har Icona Pop och Charli XCX placerat sig med sin I love it från 2012. På plats 78 återfinns Peter Bjorn and Johns Young folks från 2006, och den svenska låt som placerat sig högst upp är Robyn med sin Dancing on my own från 2010 som ligger på 19:e plats.

Gott så. Men visst känns det lite konstigt att tidningens samlade branschexperter har valt bort artister som Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, The Knife, First Aid Kit, Tove Lo och Lykke Li.
